BRAZILIAN BUTT LIFT (BBL)
The Brazilian Butt Lift, or BBL for short, is a butt lift that sculpts the entire figure at the same time. In the hands of an experienced plastic surgeon, BBL surgery is a very intelligent solution. At BBL you can e.g. B. suck out diet-resistant fat pads and use your own fat to shape your bottom. The BBL procedure with your own fat requires a lot of experience from the plastic surgeon. It is a body contouring procedure that can achieve impressive results. The aim of liposuction is not just to obtain fat for butt lift butt enlargement. In most cases, the waist is significantly narrowed to emphasize the female figure. Therefore, BBL is a body-shaping surgery that must always be planned individually.
Through the two steps of liposuction and autologous fat transfer, BBL performs two operations in one. First, excess fat from the upper/lower abdomen, back, flanks and waist is sucked out. The waist becomes narrower, the curve of the bottom becomes more pronounced - at the same time the transition from back to bottom is “defined”. Fat deposits that are resistant to diet are sucked out. The lower back becomes slim and toned through BBL surgery. So with a BBL you can kill many birds with one stone!
The stomach is now slim and the waist is as narrow as possible. With normal liposuction, the fat would be removed. The operation would be over. But with the Brazilian butt lift operation, the second step of the operation follows.
Your own fat is processed to model the body: the side regions of the bottom, which appear pressed in, are filled. Or the central butt region, which is responsible for the bulging of the butt, is filled. Another extremely important aspect of BBL is the “line” of the hips. Depending on your body type, this can be changed through BBL surgery to create the desired female shape. This is also known as apple butt.
A Brazilian butt lift is a two-part treatment that can last up to four hours in total - the duration of the operation increases depending on the extent of the procedure or the amount of fat removed. The operation is carried out under general anesthesia and a hospital stay of 3 days is planned.
RISKS AND RECOVERY
Although the risks and complications can never be completely ruled out, they are almost always very low. Typical side effects include swelling and bruising in the respective donor and access area. After one to two weeks, the traces of liposuction and the fat injection sites should disappear.
Already in the operating room or immediately after the treatment, the patient is put on compression pants, which she has to wear for around 2 to 4 weeks. It is very important to maintain the sleeping position on your stomach for the next 2 to 3 weeks as well as a rest period. In this respect, you should also treat yourself to a 14-day break from work and give your body plenty of rest to recover.
The healing process of the fat happens in the first 2 weeks. During this sensitive time, special care should be taken to exert as little pressure as possible on the treated buttocks region. This means that lying on your back and sitting during the day should be reduced to a minimum, ideally no longer than an hour in order to keep pressure as low as possible.
